Disney Mickey Mouse watch is commonly considered by most people to be the first comic character wristwatch. Its history began in 1933, when the first Mickey Mouse watch was manufactured thanks to the Ingersoll and Disney partnership. Ingersoll (then called U.S. Time and now Timex) had the license to manufacture Disney watches from 1933 up until 1968.

Bambi, the beloved animated film produced by Walt Disney Productions, based on the 1923 book "Bambi, a Life in the Woods" by Austrian author Felix Salten. Released in 1942, the film is renowned for its stunning animation, emotional depth, and poignant storytelling.

Dated from the 1940s, this is a vintage mechanical Disney Bambi wristwatch, a delightful blend of artistic design, nostalgic appeal, and functional craftsmanship, embodying the whimsical spirit of both Disney animation and mid-20th-century watchmaking.  

It is a two-hand mechanical watch with a manual-wind movement, made in U.S.A.

Designed for unisex kids, this watch still has the original two-tone (beige and green) dial adorned with a colorful illustration of Bambi, showcasing his doe-eyed innocence and delicate along with the animated hands-ears. The dial is signed: "Made in the U.S.A." 

Cased in a 28mm tonneau shape case. It comes on the original brow leather two-piece strap.

We prefer to shoot photographs outside when weather is permitting. However, when we shoot indoors, please be aware that we shoot our photographs inside of lightboxes that are lit with 360 LED bulbs. This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust the lighting, when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.  

The condition is pre-owned. 
The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear but is fully operational and functions as intended.
