Watch Overview

This is a highly collectible vintage Pulsar P3 LED digital wristwatch from the 1970s — an iconic example of early electronic watchmaking.

It features the signature red LED display, activated on demand via the side pushers. The time is displayed using small individual dots, a distinctive characteristic. Pressing the right button displays the time, while pressing the left button activates the date indicator.

The watch is housed in a bold 41mm tonneau-shaped 14K yellow gold-filled case, paired with its original Pulsar gold-filled and stainless steel bracelet.

Pulsar was the world’s first electronic digital watch. Everything started in 1970 when Pulsar was a brand of the American Hamilton Watch Company, and the first Pulsar watch was marketed by Hamilton Watch, a parent company of the Hamilton Watch Division. Today, Pulsar is a division of Seiko Watch Corporation of America (SCA). Hamilton's Pulsar Time Computer was the world's first digital watch and the first star of the quartz watch revolution.
