HAMILTON
22 Jewels Grade 761
14K White Gold and Diamond Case
Ladies Wristwatch
This is another fine timepiece, dating from the 1960s: a Hamilton ladies’ cocktail mechanical wristwatch.
It features a manual-wind movement, an original Hamilton Watch Co. caliber 761, with 22 jewels, adjusted, offering a 39-hour power reserve and operating at a frequency of 18,000 beats per hour. Proudly manufactured in the U.S.A. As with many elegant dress watches of the era, there is no second hand.
The watch is housed in a delicate 14.2 x 18.1mm asymmetrical case crafted in 14K white gold, highlighted by a decorative bezel and ornate lugs. Both the bezel and lugs are set with a mix of round, baguette, and marquise-cut diamonds, showcasing the refined Art Deco-inspired design sensibilities of the time and adding to its sophisticated look.
The original champagne dial features silver applied hour markers and matching silver hands. The dial is signed "Hamilton" at the 12 o’clock position. The overall design is simple, classic, and very elegant.
This timepiece is presented on a diamond-accented decorative bracelet with a safety chain, suitable for wrists up to 6 1/4 inches (15.9 cm). It completes the watch’s timeless and graceful presentation.
Now over 65 years old, this vintage watch remains a superb collector’s piece. It is in good condition, runs well, and keeps accurate time.

Vintage watches are traditionally smaller than today's watches. Men’s watches typically measure between 29-36mm wide (some larger, some smaller) excluding the crown. In the listing details we typically try to do our best to list all pertinent dimensions of a watch. If you don't see it, or we failed to do so, please reach out to us. Women’s watches from the 1900s-1970s were also much smaller than today's offerings. Please also feel free to ask any questions you have concerning size.
We prefer to take photographs outdoors when the weather allows. However, when shooting indoors, please note that we use lightboxes equipped with 360 LED bulbs, which can magnify any flaws that may be less noticeable to the naked eye. That said, we never use Photoshop to alter our images or remove blemishes. While we may adjust the lighting as needed, what you see is what you get, and we take pride in that.
The condition is pre-owned.
The item may show some signs of cosmetic wear, but it is fully operational, and functions as intended.
Please take a moment to review the photos, and don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have.
The item will be carefully packed for shipment.
