The Hampden Wrist Alarm from the 1960s is a practical vintage timepiece built during a period when mechanical alarm watches became popular for their everyday utility. This model reflects the straightforward design and functional approach typical of mid-century Swiss production.

The watch is powered by a 17-jewel manual-winding movement featuring central sweep seconds, an alarm mechanism, a date display, and Incabloc shock protection. The movement is also antimagnetic and was last serviced in September 2025.

The sunburst silver dial is fitted with gold-tone Arabic numerals and baton hour markers, matching gold hands, and a sweep-seconds hand with a red tip. The alarm hand is finished in the same red tone for easy visibility. A white date window is positioned at 3 o’clock, maintaining a clean and readable layout.

The 34 mm round case features a stainless-steel screw-back, an acrylic crystal, and two crowns: the main crown at 4 o’clock and the alarm crown at 2 o’clock. Fitted with a genuine calf two-piece strap, this vintage Hampden remains in good overall condition with some wear consistent with age. Fully inspected and authenticated, it is ready to wear and enjoy.
