We are proud to present this distinctive vintage timepiece, a Cartier Autoscaph 21 automatic wristwatch, reference 2427, produced during the late 1990s to early 2000s era.

This model belongs to the iconic Must 21 collection by Cartier, a bold and modern design line inspired by contemporary sports watches of the 1990s. While most Must 21 models were quartz-powered, the Autoscaph stands out as the rare automatic version, making it especially desirable among collectors.

It is powered by a Swiss self-winding automatic movement (commonly based on the ETA 2892-A2 for this reference), featuring a central sweep seconds hand and a date calendar at 3 o’clock.

Housed in a 37mm polished stainless steel case with a fixed bezel engraved with Roman numerals, paired with the original cabochon screw-down crown. It features a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and offers a water resistance rating of 100 meters (330 feet / 10 ATM).

The black textured dial showcases Cartier’s signature logo pattern, applied luminous hour markers, bold luminous hands, and an inner silver-tone minute track. The date window is positioned at 3 o’clock with a magnifier lens. It is fitted with a Cartier stainless steel and black rubber bracelet. Fully inspected and authenticated by our in-house watchmaker, this timepiece runs accurately and is ready to wear and enjoy.
