Watch Overview

We are proud to present this vintage timepiece, a Breitling Chronomat wristwatch reference 808, dated from the 1960's. It is a manual-wind watch powered by an original Breitling Watch Co. mechanical movement, caliber Venus 175 with chronograph complication, 17 jewels and small-seconds. It features a central chronograph seconds-hand and a 45-minute counter. It operates at 18,000 vibrations per hour with an approximate 45-hour power reserve. Swiss made.

Still has the original light champagne dial with applied hour markers and a clear black minute track. The dial is surrounded by Breitling’s signature circular slide-rule scale, operated via the rotating bezel, allowing for a variety of practical calculations. The chronograph accents and red central chronograph seconds hand adds contrast against the aged dial, and the twin sub-dials at 9 and 3 o’clock keeps the display well balanced.

Cased in a 37mm round stainless steel case with polished finish, bidirectional rotating slide rule beaded bezel and it is paired with a brown leather two-piece strap. This Breitling Chronomat 808 chronograph watch presents well with signs of honest aging. This timepiece is fully inspected and authenticated. Running and wearable.
