This is a super nice timepiece! A vintage Universal Geneve diver automatic wristwatch, reference 871.175 dating back to the 1990s.

 

It is a self-winding watch powered by the high-quality in-house Universal Geneve automatic movement, caliber Universal Geneve 71 (ETA 2892A2). It boasts 21 jewels, a sweep-second hand, a date indicator with quickset, a hacking seconds mechanism, a 42-hour power reserve, and a frequency of 28,800 A/h—all Swiss made.

 

It still has the original blue dial, elegantly adorned with luminous silver and cream arrow hour markers, a white minute/second track, and luminous matching silver hands. The date calendar is located at 3 o'clock. The dial is beautifully signed with Universal Geneve name/logo at the top and "Automatic" at the bottom.

 

Housed in a 35mm round stainless-steel case with a classic lug design and a display case back. The watch has a rotating elapsed time bezel, a sapphire crystal, and offers 150 meters of water resistance (15 ATM/339 feet) for added durability. It also features the original screw-down signed crown.

 

To complete its look, the watch is fitted with a brown genuine leather two-piece strap.

 

This watch is still in good condition, keeping excellent time and running smoothly!
