The Dynamic is a sub-line of watches that Omega initially debuted in 1968 with a watch simply called the Omega Dynamic. In 1984, a second Dynamic was released. Then, in 1997, the final installment of the Dynamic line – the Dynamic Chronograph.
 
Today, we are presenting the third and final generation of the Omega Dynamic launched in 1997. It is a beautiful military inspired chronograph. that got discontinued less than three years after its launch and it is estimated that no more than 8,000 third generation Omega Dynamics were ever sold.
 
The design is heavily inspired by the RAF-issued Omega watches from the 1950s, unique-for-Omega Arabic numerals at every hour. and an Omega caliber 1108 movement (based on an ETA 2890A2). “It was like some sort of hybrid between a vintage pilot watch and a Speedmaster Reduced. It was also a bit of a misfit for the brand, which probably explains its relatively short lifespan.”
 
Without doubt, this is a unique timepiece, a vintage Omega Dynamic Chronograph automatic wristwatch, reference 175.0310 and dated from the late 1990s.
It is a self-winding watch powered by an original Omega automatic movement caliber 1138 (based on ETA 2890-2), chronograph (sweep second hand and 30-min sub-dial), 44 jewels, sub-second hand, 42 hours power reserve, 28,800 A/h, Swiss made. – Serviced 2023.
 
In perfect condition, this watch still has the original matte black dial featuring a unique design. It starts with the heavily patinated luminous Arabic Numerals, outer minute track with its white markings and yellow numerals. It also features two sub-dials (subregisters) with white markings, at 3 o’clock the sub-second dial and at 9 o’clock the 30-minute sub-dial. Pilot gauge-style hour and minute luminous hands, combined with a bright yellow second-hand. The dial is also signed with the Omega name and logo, Dynamic and Automatic.
 
Cased in a 38.5mm round stainless-steel case, the case back is extremely clean with only the Omega name etched into it. Original Omega-signed crown and two pump chronograph pushers. This watch also comes with the original Omega 1571/871 stainless-steel bracelet that still retains 22-links and will fit a wrist up to 7 ¾” (19.7cm).

We prefer to shoot photographs outside when weather is permitting. However, when we shoot indoors, please be aware that we shoot our photographs inside of lightboxes that are lit with 360 LED bulbs. This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust lighting when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
