The beige analog dial features applied gold-tone hour markers, a minute and seconds track, an inner rotating alarm dial, and a date window at 3 o’clock, all housed in a 36.5mm polished round case with a coin-edge rotating bezel, screw-down crown, and screw-back case. The watch is paired with a brown two-piece leather strap and is presented in very good condition. Framont was a Swiss watch brand officially registered on February 2, 1944, by J. Crevoiserat & Cie., under the company Framont Sarl, based in Saignelégier and later in Renan, Switzerland. In 1967, the company opened a new factory in Renan and became part of a merger that formed Micro-Time SA, alongside other Swiss watchmakers such as Charles Gigandet SA and Landeron. Framont operated primarily during the mid-20th century and produced mechanical wristwatches, some of which featured complications like parking alarms. The brand was dissolved in 1988. Today, Framont timepieces—particularly rare models like the parking alarm watch—stand as a testament to Swiss ingenuity and mid-century horological design.
