This is a vintage Bulova Westover dress mechanical wristwatch from 1951. It is powered by the original Bulova caliber 8AC manual-wind movement with 17 jewels and small-seconds. The movement delivers a 45-hour power reserve and operates at 12,000 vibrations per hour. Made in U.S.A.
The silver-tone dial showing some age and patina, features applied gold Arabic numerals, arrow markers, a black minute track and matching gold hands. The sub-second hand is at 6 o'clock and is signed with the Bulova name on top as well.
Cased in a 24.5mm curved tank case with fluted scallop sides, made in 10K yellow rolled gold plated bezel, this timepiece features a polished finish. Paired with a blue leather two-piece strap, this Bulova wristwatch presents well the elegant design for the era with signs of honest aging. Fully inspected and authenticated. Running and wearable.
