Celebrating Bulova’s 150 years of innovation and craftsmanship, the Special Edition MIL-SHIPS Bronze pays tribute to the brand’s deep military heritage. Inspired by a rare 1957 prototype developed for the U.S. Navy, this special edition timepiece blends historical design with modern performance.

 

Powered by the reliable caliber 83S0 automatic movement, it features a sweep-second hand, 21 jewels, and an impressive 60-hour power reserve.

 

The 41mm sandblasted CuSn8 bronze case offers a warm, rose-gold hue reminiscent of vintage diving helmets. Over time, the bronze develops a unique patina, adding character and durability. Additional remarkable features include:

 

• Double-domed sapphire crystal with 5-layer anti-reflective coating
• Bidirectional rotating bezel with matching aluminum insert
• Embossed 150th Anniversary case back
• 200m water resistance

 

The deep navy dial features vintage-style Super-LumiNova® hands and markers, a white minute and second track along with a bi-color moisture indicator strip—a nod to its military roots.

 

Completing the package is a durable 18mm hybrid strap made of rubber and Cordura® nylon, offering both comfort and resilience.
