From the Precisionist collection and released in September 2018, this is the Bulova Icon chronograph watch – the Precisionist. It features Bulova’s unique three-prong crystal Precisionist movement.

 

The Precisionist collection is a complex work of art, with a handsome selection of sport and dress styles, including chronographs, each with the state-of-the-art Precisionist movement.

 

It is a battery watch powered by Bulova’s proprietary Precisionist 8-hand quartz chronograph movement with a 262kHz vibrational frequency—eight times greater than standard timepieces— leading to an accuracy of seconds a year. Caliber NN50, 1/1000 second chronograph, continuous-sweep second hand (which beats 16 times per second) and calendar complication.

 

The 4-eye (sub-dials) chronographs provide precision timing to 1/1000th of a second, 1/10th of a second, 12-hour and 60-minute chronograph function.

 

Chronograph black and silver-tone multi-layered dial featuring red accents, silver/luminous hour marks, silver/luminous matching hands and unique red sweep second-hand. The date window is located at 4:30 position. Curved mineral crystal.

 

Intricate styling with complex, architecturally designed, this watch is cased in a 46.5mm two-tone case stainless steel and blue IP steel. Screw-back case with screw-down crown, black carbon fiber. 300-meter water resistance.

 

It comes on a textured blue polyurethane two-piece strap with three-piece buckle closure.
