Released in 2024, the Chairman of the Board is the newest addition to Bulova’s exclusive Frank Sinatra Collection—a limited-edition tribute to the legendary performer and his signature style. Inspired by Bulova’s iconic 1936 “President” model, this timepiece blends vintage Art Deco design with the unmistakable charm of Ol’ Blue Eyes. Limited to only 500 individually numbered pieces

 

This collector’s watch is powered by a self-winding Swiss automatic movement, the Sellita SW100a (based on ETA 2671). It features 25 jewels, a smooth sweeping second hand, hacking seconds, a quick-set date at 6 o'clock, and delivers a 42-hour power reserve at a frequency of 28,800 vph. No battery is required, as the rotor charges with the natural movement of the wrist.

 

The elegant black dial is accented with gold-tone hands and markers, with Sinatra’s iconic fedora placed at the 12 o’clock position. The subtle date window at 6 o'clock adds both symmetry and utility.

 

The watch is housed in a 25.5mm 18k gold-plated stainless-steel case, styled after Bulova’s original “President” model with stepped flanks and a graceful tank-style silhouette. A double-curved sapphire crystal, protected crown, and 30 meters of water resistance ensure both durability and everyday wearability. The custom case back features the Sinatra family crest—a crowned lion reaching for the stars.

 

Each timepiece is presented in a lacquered collector’s box, complete with a limited-edition plaque, numbered card, and a Frank Sinatra storybook celebrating Bulova’s rich connection to the singer.

 

In the 1950s, Bulova proudly sponsored The Frank Sinatra Show, and Sinatra was known to wear Bulova watches throughout his life. The Chairman of the Board honors that legacy with timeless sophistication and a nod to classic American watchmaking.
