From Bulova’s Frank Lloyd Wright® Collection, this artistic timepiece stands out with refined design and unique architectural inspiration. The Bulova 96B367 “Blueprint” Chronograph, released in 2021, draws from one of Wright’s most imaginative projects—The Avery Coonley Playhouse, located outside of Chicago.

 

Frank Lloyd Wright, the famous American architect. He was also a designer, writer, and educator. “Wright gained such cultural primacy for good reason: he changed the way we build and live.” Designing 1,114 architectural works of all types — 532 of which were realized — he created some of the most innovative spaces in the United States. With a career that spanned seven decades before his death in 1959.

 

This is a 5-hand quartz chronograph powered by the caliber 6S21. The battery-powered movement operates at 32,768 Hz and features central hour, minute, and chronograph seconds hands, a small seconds subdial at 12:00, 60-minute chronograph counter at 6:00, and a date window at 3:00. Regulated by a quartz crystal, it maintains accuracy within 15 seconds per month. A Frank Lloyd Wright signature logo on the dial gives the watch an official touch of design heritage.

 

The blue enamel dial features a white blueprint-inspired print, reflecting the iconic stained-glass windows Wright designed for the Coonley Playhouse in 1912. The use of circles and squares—central elements of his geometric style—adds depth and character. Silver-tone hour markers, a coordinated handset, and a unique second-hand counterbalance, exclusive to the collection, complete the look.

 

Housed in a 39mm stainless steel round case, the watch is protected by a double-domed mineral crystal and offers 30 meters of water resistance. It is paired with a brown calfskin leather strap featuring white contrast stitching for a refined finish.

 

This chronograph is a wearable tribute to Frank Lloyd Wright’s visionary architecture—where design meets timekeeping.
