BULOVA— “Whatever the occasion you say it better with a BULOVA.”
1978 BULOVA
"Seville Collection"
14K White Gold & Diamonds
Ladies Wristwatch
"Bulova watches: for beauty and accuracy"
This is a fine vintage timepiece from 1978: a Bulova ladies’ cocktail mechanical wristwatch with beautiful style and charm. It features the original Bulova Caliber 1000 11 manual-wind movement with 17 jewels and 21,600 beats per hour. There is no second-hand, as is typical of many elegant dress watches from that period. Swiss made.
It is housed in a refined 15x15mm square case crafted in 14K white gold, beautifully framed by a bezel of round-cut diamonds. Both lugs are also adorned with diamonds, enhancing the sophisticated design. The crystal features a unique, decorative cut that adds to the overall elegance.
The original sunburst blue dial is detailed with silver stick hour markers and matching silver hands. The “Bulova” name is signed at the 12 o’clock position, completing the dial’s graceful look.
It comes on an original black cord bracelet with a safety chain, fitting wrists up to 5 1/4 inches (13.4 cm). The bracelet pairs perfectly with the case, preserving the watch’s classic vintage appeal.
Now over 45 years old, this timepiece remains a wonderful collector’s item. It is in good condition, runs well, and keeps accurate time.
Thank you for considering this timepiece. Feel free to reach out with any questions or respectful offers!

Vintage watches are traditionally smaller than today's watches. Men’s watches typically measure between 29-36mm wide (some larger, some smaller) excluding the crown. In the listing details we typically try to do our best to list all pertinent dimensions of a watch. If you don't see it, or we failed to do so, please reach out to us. Women’s watches from the 1900s-1970s were also much smaller than today's offerings. Please also feel free to ask any questions you have concerning size.
We prefer to take photographs outdoors when the weather allows. However, when shooting indoors, please note that we use lightboxes equipped with 360 LED bulbs, which can magnify any flaws that may be less noticeable to the naked eye. That said, we never use Photoshop to alter our images or remove blemishes. While we may adjust the lighting as needed, what you see is what you get, and we take pride in that.
The condition is pre-owned.
The item may show some signs of cosmetic wear, but it is fully operational, and functions as intended.
Please take a moment to review the photos, and don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have.
The item will be carefully packed for shipment.
