This is a vintage Elgin DuraPower Edgewater mechanical wristwatch, reference 6552 dated from 1953. It is a manual-wind watch powered by an original Elgin Watch Co. mechanical movement featuring 17 jewels and sub-second hand. It operates at 18,000 vibrations per hour with an approximate 50-hour power reserve. Made in United States.

It has a very nice two-tone champagne dial with applicated Arabic numerals, round hour markers, black minute track and complement with gold-tone matching hands.

Cased in a 24x30mm tank case with elegant lugs design, crafted in 10K yellow rolled gold filled bezel and stainless steel back. It features a polished finish and paired with a black brand-new leather two-piece strap. This timepiece presents well with signs of honest aging. Fully inspected and authenticated. Running and wearable.
