Offered here today is an elegant vintage Gotham mechanical wristwatch dating to the 1940s vintage era. This manual-wind timepiece is powered by the original Gotham Watch Co. Inc. Swiss mechanical movement, caliber SLMJ, featuring 17 jewels and a small seconds sub-dial.

The watch retains its original gold-tone dial with black Roman numerals, an inner minute track, and blued steel hands. The small seconds sub-dial is positioned at 6 o’clock, completing the classic Art Deco aesthetic.

It is housed in a 24x25mm tonneau-shaped case with decorative lugs, crafted in 10K rolled gold plate on sterling. The watch is fitted with a brand-new black leather two-piece strap. Fully inspected by our in-house watchmaker, it runs accurately and is ready to wear and enjoy.
