Watch Overview
Colonel Lindbergh's epoch-making Transatlantic Flight was the occasion for the presentation of the first Bulova âLone Eagleââa tribute to American aviation history and one of the most iconic models ever produced by the brand. Then in 1934, Bulova introduced six smart styles, both plain and engraved, expanding the Lone Eagle line with sophisticated designs that reflected the elegance and innovation of the era.
This particular piece is a vintage Bulova 1934 Lone Eagle menâs wristwatch, made in U.S.A. that blends elegant aesthetics with mechanical craftsmanship. The 25x29.7mm case is a beautifully engraved two-tone 10K rolled gold-plated rectangular design, paired with a classic brown leather strap. Itâs a rare survivor from the golden age of wristwatches.
Powered by the Bulova 10AN manual-winding mechanical movement, this watch features 17 jewels, central hour and minute hands, a small seconds subdial at 6 oâclock, and an adjusted mechanism for improved accuracy. Beating at a frequency of 18,000 vibrations per hour, it offers a power reserve of approximately 38 hours.
The champagne dial features gold Arabic numerals, a bold "railroad" minute track, and matching gold-tone hands. This watch is in good vintage condition, showing wear consistent with its age and use. It has been fully inspected by our in-house watchmaker, runs accurately, and is ready to wear.
