With original leather strap and original Elgin display box, this is a GORGEOUS timepiece!

This is a vintage Elgin Legionnaire wristwatch, model 402 and dated from 1931.

It is a manual wind watch with an original Elgin movement caliber grade 485, 7 jewels, U.S.A. made.

Stunning 29.6mm tonneau shape case with art deco engraved design, chrome plated caser over nickel. Original embossed luminous dial (showing some ghost hands “radium burns”) with Arabic Numerals, original hands as well.

This watch is is a perfect collector's item, it is in good condition, a very attractive looking watch! Runs very well, keeps good time!

This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust light when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
