Watch Overview
This is a vintage Bulova Prentice mechanical wristwatch from 1931. It is powered by the original Bulova caliber 9AF manual-wind movement with 17 jewels and small-seconds. Swiss made.
The white dial showing some age and patina, features applied gold Arabic numerals with a black minute track and matching gold hands. The sub-second hand is at 6 o'clock and is signed with the Bulova name on top as well.
Housed in a refined 23×33 mm Art Deco two-tone case, this design features engraved gold-tone accents along the vertical sides and stepped architectural detailing at the top and bottom of the bezel. The curved, front-hinged case opens to allow easy access to the movement for servicing.
Paired with a brown two-piece strap, this Bulova wristwatch presents well the elegant design for the era with signs of honest aging. Fully inspected and authenticated. Running and wearable.
