Offered here is a high-grade vintage Illinois Bunn Special Railroad pocket watch, a classic American timepiece dating to 1922.

This open-face, manual-wind pocket watch is powered by the original Illinois Watch Co. Bunn Special movement, size 16s, Model 11, featuring 23 jewels. It is lever-set and railroad grade, adjusted to six positions, temperature, and isochronism, and equipped with a double roller escapement and a 48-hour motor barrel for extended running time.

It features a classic white enamel dial with bold black Arabic numerals, an outer minute track, blued steel hands, and a sub-seconds register at 6 o’clock.

The movement displays a beautiful nickel finish with a fine ray pattern. It is housed in a 53mm round gold-filled swing-out case, allowing easy access to the movement, and is fitted with a traditional bow and crown.

It is in running condition with a clean movement and an attractive dial, making it a highly collectible railroad-grade pocket watch.
