This is an antique timepiece: a vintage Elgin pocket watch from 1919. It is a manual-winding watch that features an original Elgin caliber grade 301 mechanical movement with 7 jewels, size 12s, model 2, and class 113. The movement includes a sub-second dial and is proudly made in the U.S.A. 

 

Original champagne dial with elegant gold printed Arabic numerals, gold railroad minute track, and large blue-steel hands, providing an easy-to-read and functional design. The black sub-second dial is located at the 3 o'clock position. The dial is signed with Elgin name at the top. 

 

This timepiece features an open face, housed in a 47mm round case. All in 925 sterling silver.

 

After more than 105 years, this pocket watch is still in excellent working condition, running smoothly and keeping accurate time.

Vintage watches are traditionally smaller than today's watches. Men’s watches typically measure between 29-36mm wide (some larger, some smaller) excluding the crown.
