Watch Overview

This is a beautifully preserved vintage Burlington Special pocket watch, dating to circa 1914.

It features a white enamel dial with bold black Arabic numerals with a black and red minute track, large blue steel hands and a small seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock.

It is an open-face manual-wind pocket watch powered by the high grade and original Burlington Watch Co. mechanical movement, grade 274, featuring 19 jewels, size 12s, Model 1, small-seconds and made in the U.S.A. It is adjusted to three (3) positions and temperature for precision timekeeping.

The watch is housed in a 47mm round gold filled case with polished finish, paired with a classic bow and crown — a typical design for the era.

Presented in working condition with a clean movement and well-preserved dial, this piece represents an excellent collectible example of early American horology.
