This is a beautifully preserved vintage Hampden Dueber Grand Railroad grade pocket watch, dating to circa 1903.

It features a white enamel dial with bold black Roman numerals with a black and red minute track, large blue steel hands and a small seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock.

It is an open-face manual-wind pocket watch powered by the original mechanical movement, grade Dueber Grand, featuring 17 jewels, size 18s, Model 4, lever-set mechanism, small-seconds and made in the U.S.A. It is a railroad grade and has been adjusted for precision timekeeping.

The watch is housed in a 58.6mm round silverode case with polished finish, paired with a classic bow and gold-tone onion-style crown. The crown is located at 3 o'clock position.

Presented in working condition with a clean movement and well-preserved dial, this piece represents an excellent collectible example of early American horology.
