This is a beautiful vintage A.W.C. Waltham dress pocket watch, dating back to 1889. It’s a manual-wind timepiece powered by the original Waltham mechanical movement, Grade J, Model 1889, Size 6s, with 7 jewels. Made in the U.S.A., this hunter-case watch features a sub-second dial and classic American craftsmanship.

 

The analog display showcases its original white dial, highlighted by black Roman numerals, a crisp black railroad minute track, and elegant blued steel hands. The sub-seconds register sits at 6 o’clock, complete with a bold second’s track and Arabic numerals at 10-second intervals. The dial is signed “A.W.Co. Waltham” at the top.

 

It is housed in a 39.7mm tri-color gold-filled hunter case with an intricate engraving and comes with a matching mesh chain and fob.

 

This is a handsome and fully functional timepiece, perfect for daily use or as a standout piece in any vintage collection. It runs well and keeps excellent time.
